The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s Date Set for 2016

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – With the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s marked in the books, the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series looks to the week of May 23, 2016 to be back on Lake Pickwick in Florence, Alabama for the 11th Annual BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s on Thursday and Friday, May 26-27.“We at Florence Lauderdale Tourism are super excited to be hosting the 2016 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s! Each year we look forward to seeing the brightest, best college bass anglers fight it out on Pickwick Lake,” said Suzie Shoemaker, Sports Marketing and Special Events Coordinator at Florence Lauderdale Tourism. “We will see you in May!”
The no entry fee tournament features an action packed week full of activities including Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night, a Flip, Pitch, and Cast Competition, Sponsor Appreciation Registration Banquet as well as much more to include products, prizes and scholarships awarded to top finishers.
