BoatUS Joins Inshore Fishing Association

Agreement includes custom contingency program for IFA anglers

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatU.S.), boasting over half a million members nationwide, has joined the Inshore Fishing Association (IFA) as an official sponsor. The multi-year agreement includes both Redfish Tour and Kayak Tour events, as well as the new Lucas Oil Opens.

“Many of our anglers are longstanding BoatU.S. members,” said IFA Marketing Director Bart Schad. “It’s a tremendous organization and a perfect fit for the IFA. Inshore anglers know unexpected things can happen, whether on the road or on the water. That’s where BoatU.S. has your back with their invaluable 24/7 towing services. We’re fortunate to have their support.”

BoatU.S. offers on the water and on the road towing services provided by the nation’s largest towing fleet and insures billions of dollars worth of members’ boats, offering unparalleled service at competitive prices. BoatU.S. also offers time and money saving benefits to their over half a million members through strategic partnerships within the marine industry.

Since its founding in 1966, BoatU.S. has also worked to provide quality service, savings and representation to the recreational boating community. Today BoatU.S. stands as the nation’s most powerful advocate for advancing the interests of boaters everywhere.

The new partnership will also include a custom contingency program rewarding IFA anglers that carry BoatU.S. marine insurance policies. BoatU.S. offers coverage in all 50 states to boat owners with a US address and is available for most all boat types. In addition to the exceptional service and claims handling, IFA anglers with BoatU.S. marine insurance policies will soon be eligible for bonus payout at all IFA events.

“Working with the IFA is a great platform to showcase our services and highlight the benefits of being a BoatU.S. member,” said Program Coordinator Dustin King. “We’re excited to partner with an organization that’s passionate about inshore angling, especially one with such a broad reach. It’s a great fit for BoatU.S.”

Drawing inshore anglers from Texas to the Carolinas and beyond, the IFA Redfish Tour is the largest and oldest redfish tour in the nation. Offering anglers the opportunity to compete in low-entry fee events, redfish anglers can fish close to home, minimize expenses and compete for lucrative winnings and contingency prizes.

The IFA Kayak Fishing Tour presented by Hobie Fishing is the fastest-growing kayak fishing tournament trail in the county. Kayak anglers competing in the catch-photograph-release tournaments can take advantage of the numerous money and product prizes awarded to competitors.
