SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series is pleased to announce Lake Dardanelle as the second stop of the 2016 collegiate bass fishing. The event will be held on March 24-26 and will be hosted by Russellville Tourism and Visitor Center in Russellville, Arkansas.
“Russellville, Arkansas and Lake Dardanelle are very excited to host this event for the very first time,” said Christie Graham, Executive Director of Tourism. “We are looking forward to having these collegiate anglers on our lake and can’t wait to see everyone this spring!”
As one of four double-points Cabela’s School of the Year events, the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and the Association of Collegiate Anglers are excited to offer collegiate anglers the chance to compete on Lake Dardanelle as part of the 2016 Cabela’s School of the Year Race.
“We’re very excited to head to be going to Lake Dardanelle in 2016. This will be our first time hosting one of major televised events on this body of water. College anglers competing in this event will be treated to great fishing and a new event within the series” said Wade Middleton, Director of the Association of Collegiate Anglers and President of CarecoTV. “Because of the double points that will be awarded at this event, it will be one that anglers will not want to miss to stay competitive in the Cabela’s School of the Year race.”
We look forward to seeing everyone this spring at Lake Dardanelle on March 24-26!
