HIVIZ Bids Farewell to Military Hero, Scott Steiert

Laramie, WY — Scott Steiert, decorated Special Forces war veteran with multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and HIVIZ OEM Sales manager, is moving on.

HIVIZ announced today that effective August 1st Scott will be joining Northern Red Training as a tactical trainer, leveraging his 22 years of military experience to meet an urgent training need that better equips national law enforcement professionals to respond to our more dangerous world. Scott says that although he loves HIVIZ, he feels an urgent need to help out the law enforcement community, which is under siege from terrorist threats and personal attacks by a small segment of our society. Scott states “for my entire military career I was trained and performed tasks in a similar situation to what our national law enforcement professionals experience today – I can help them be more prepared and protected from what they are enduring in everyday duty!” Scott adds that he’ll be using HIVIZ sights in his training.

Mike Thomas, HIVIZ COO/CFO comments that “Scott is a rare individual. Having already served his country with distinction for decades, he feels the need to get back into the action by training law enforcement professionals in the unique set of skills he used in the military. It is with great sadness and pride that we at HIVIZ wish him the absolute best in his new venture.”

Scott will always remain a member of the HIVIZ family, though he may be working in another endeavor.
