Registration Now Open for the 2016 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Open On Lake Dardanelle

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Open s on Lake Dardanelle. As the second stop of the 2016 Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, the event will be held on March 24-26 and will be hosted by Russellville Tourism and Visitor Center in Russellville, Arkansas.

“Russellville, Arkansas and Lake Dardanelle are very excited to host this event for the very first time,” said Christie Graham, Executive Director of Tourism. “We are looking forward to having these collegiate anglers on our lake and can’t wait to see everyone this spring!”

As one of three double-points Cabela’s School of the Year events, the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and the Association of Collegiate Anglers are excited to offer collegiate anglers the chance to compete on Lake Dardanelle as part of the 2016 Cabela’s School of the Year Race.

“We’re very excited to be fishing Lake Dardanelle in 2016.  This will be our first time hosting one of our major televised event on this body of water.  College anglers competing in this event will be featured on the television series, experience great hospitality and first class fishing on one of the best lakes in the nation” said Wade Middleton, Director of the Association of Collegiate Anglers and President of CarecoTV.
