Yamaha’s New F350C Outboard Provides 5 Full Years of Warranty
Latest version of F350 offers new look and Yamaha’s best protection yet
KENNESAW, Ga.– Yamaha Marine Group announced today the introduction of the new 5.3-liter F350C, which now provides five full years of Limited Warranty coverage, wrapping a refined outboard package with a list of benefits and features that are still unique in the marketplace, nine years after the debut of the original F350.

Yamaha’s F350 redefined offshore power in 2007 and still has little competition in its class. The first F350 offered an outboard capable of the raw thrust necessary for pushing larger and heavier offshore boats. Thousands of F350s later, there is still nothing like it. The F350 helped to drive the trend to larger offshore boats; sales of boats larger than 36 feet have increased by 31 percent, and the 41-foot+ class has increased by more than 300 percent.
Benefits of F350C over other 350-horsepower outboards
While other manufacturers offer 350-horspeower outboards, there are none that can match the big bore, normally aspirated flat torque curve of the 5.3-liter F350C.
There is simply no replacement for displacement. Nothing makes power as smoothly and consistently as Yamaha’s F350C, and this type of reliable performance is what separates the Yamaha 350C from its competitor’s 2.6-liter, inline six-cylinder supercharged outboard. The torque curve of Yamaha’s naturally aspirated V8 delivers more power, more smoothly, compared to a supercharged six-cylinder outboard.
New F350C graphics also speak to the technology under the cowl: The “V” graphic not only defines the cylinder arrangement, but also denotes the way the engine makes power. The right side of the “V” graphic represents the flatness of the F350C V8 torque curve – the flat curve that is the classic marker for consistent, smooth, naturally aspirated V8 power. Yamaha’s naturally-aspirated 5.3-liter V8 has the best torque characteristics in the business.

Like the original, the F350C also offers:
- Specific marine design – the 60-degree V8 has four valves per cylinder and double overhead cams;
- Unbelievable acceleration. Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT™) optimizes the engine’s torque at low and mid-range rpm for unequaled performance;
- Sequential multi-point fuel injection. Eight long-intake tracks in the induction system optimize power;
- Less internal stress and friction, and lower internal engine pressures and heat build-up;
- And it runs on 89 octane fuel, while some supercharged engines need 91 octane for maximum performance.
